Our Process
Some co-packers offer quotes before ever looking at a product. We take a collaborative approach to form a plan that we can deliver.
This approach may not be a fit for everyone. But our partners will attest that it's how we've safely delivered billions of units. On time. Every time.

Pre-Production
Timeline: 1-4 weeks
Discovery | Week 1 We start by understanding your product, format requirements, volume targets, and supply chain context. This technical intake helps us move faster: more we know upfront, the faster we move.
Product evaluation | Weeks 1–2 We assess your product's physical properties (viscosity, fill weight, particulates, format compatibility) against our machinery and capabilities. Where needed, we run bench or line trials. You get honest feedback, not a yes to everything.
Costing & quoting | Weeks 2–3 We build a cost model grounded in your actual specs, not assumptions. You receive a detailed quote with clear line items. At this stage we typically schedule regular check-ins with your team to keep the process moving and address questions in real time.
Order confirmation | Weeks 3-4 Once the quote is accepted and a PO is received, we confirm specs and artwork, lock in scheduling, and align on materials and packaging film sourcing. Our team coordinates the supply chain so you don't have to manage multiple vendors. Typically, we deliver production runs within two weeks of all materials arriving to our facility.
Production
Weeks 4-8
Production run Your product runs on Sanko machinery: purpose-built for your application and running billions of units every year. This equipment is used by some of the largest brands in food, beverage, and supplements. Rigorous QC is built into every run, and you'll receive documentation to meet retailer and compliance requirements.
PARTNERSHIP: Ongoing
Partnership & scale As your business grows, we grow with you. T.H.E.M. offers flexible capacity across multiple facilities, overflow production support, and the ability to add SKUs and formats as your product line evolves. We're built to handle demand spikes without disrupting your supply chain.
The path to ownership (when you're ready) For brands that reach the point where bringing production in-house makes sense, T.H.E.M. is uniquely positioned to support that transition. As the exclusive North American distributor of Sanko packaging machinery (the same equipment running in our own facilities) we can help you evaluate, procure, install, and train on a line built for your operation. Most co-packing relationships don't end here. They evolve.
